Gasar foamed metal porous material, with controllable configuration parameters, isspecially produced and can be arbitrarily cut. It has remarkable advantages compared withother porous materials.This thesis aims to prove the superiorities of Gasar foamed metal porous material byFLUENT fluid simulation and there’re two main conclusions. First of all, under thecomparison of filtration performance in triangular distribution and square distribution, boththe filtering rate and changes of porosity will not influence the fact that the filtering effect ofthe holes is better in triangular distribution than in square distribution. Secondly, under thecomparison of two flow velocity directions of conical pore, both the filtering rate and thechanges of porosity will not influence the fact that the filtering effect of getting in through thesmall hole and out through the big hole is better than that in opposite direction.This article finds the relationships between filtration thickness, porosity and filtrationsize according to the preparation technology of Gasar foamed metal porous material. This willgive science guidance on the filtration thickness. It also finds the relationships between thetaper angle θ and other filtration indexes according to permeability formula.The theory analysis shows that Gasar foamed metal porous material has better filteringeffect in gradient distribution than in regular uniform distribution in some cases. And buildtwo different gradient distribution forms: From the center to outward of the filtration section,aperture staying the same and pitch of holes gradually becoming larger called distributionform A; Pitch of holes staying the same and aperture becoming smaller is called distributionform B. With the help of FLUENT fluid simulation, the conclusion is that no matter thefiltration rate or porosity changes, distribution form A has better filtering effect than B.
