With the development of economy, the performance of NC system is increasingly highdemanded by manufacturing industry. Small and medium-sized enterprises urgently need akind of CNC system which is low cost and stable operation. The users can also increase itsrelated function according to their own needs. In order to change the situation of CNC systemhigh price and especially monopoly by some foreign brand, this paper studies the motioncontrol card which is low power, high performance and hardware structure completely open.This paper presents the overall design scheme of USB motion control board and sets upthe motion control board platform with the cores of S3C44B0X and μC/OS-II based on deepresearch and analysis on embedded technology and embedded motion control system. Theembedded motion control board is designed modularly, including memory interface, displayinterface, IO interface and power conversion circuit. The detailed design of embedded USBhost is conducted to make the motion control board automatically read data from U memory.The BOOTLOADER program is developed following S3C44B0X star up principle. TheμC/OS-II is cropped and transplanted into S3C44B0X successfully to implement themanagement of tasks scheduling including data processing, motor control and Interpolation.
