With high buildings increasing gradually, high building fire loss is more and more serious. So aerial platform fire truck play a growing role in the fire protection work. Aerial platform fire truck as a kind of aerial work equipment, its height is the main performance parameter. And with the increase of height and length of pipe between power source and actuator, here started appearing safety reliability problems. Practice has proved that long pipe will produce the vibration, noise, fever and low efficiency, and bring a serious influence on dynamic characteristics of the system. Leveling system of the platform affects the safety of operators directly. So we should deeply research long pipe in the leveling hydraulic system, and reduce the influence on dynamic characteristics.In this paper, proportional valve control system is studied on the background of DJC100aerial platform fire truck by Matlab, which is developed by school of mechanical engineering of DUT and Zhengzhou New Dafang Heavy Industries&Technology Co., Ltd.(1) The article reviews the fluid piping model of the development and the present study situation, and select suitable for this paper pipe model.(2) The hydraulic system of aerial platform fire truck have been designed. The paper focuses on the hydraulic system of platform leveling mechanism analysis, designing and comparing two different hydraulic scheme energy loss.(3) The modular and graphical model for proportional valve control system is built by Simulink toolbox of Matlab. Then the effect of some factors on the dynamic characteristics of proportional valve control system is analyzed.(4) The paper also brings about the detail improving method, which is that install the accumulator can reduce the long pipe to influence the dynamic property of the system, and proves the validity of the method, which has some guidance meaning for the actual construction design afterward.(5) On the basis of improving method, the paper designs a set of emergency manual leveling scheme.
