With the development of Chinese environmental improvement needs, the nitrogen oxide NOx emissions standards are also increasingly strict, and the NOx emission charges have started to implement in some areas. Under the increasingly stringent requirement of environmental standards, The thermal power plants urgently need a new technology to reduce the NOx emissions.Based on the summary and analysis of low nitrogen combustion technology at home and abroad, this paper determines to transform the#2boiler in Huaneng Jinggangshan Power Plant by the method of double dimension low-nitrogen combustion, and simulates the data to prove its feasibility before the transformation.The transformation adopts lateral and vertical air classification, low NOx burner and low NOx function area, and other technical measures of guaranteeing the boiler’s economy not reduced. Realized the anticlogging, anticorrosive, efficient stable-combustion while achieving the function of reducing NOx. Various measures interact and coupling with each other, impel multifunctional integration. Use zoning optimization debugging method after the transformation, carrying out the optimal adjustment test for furnace exit oxygen content, primary air volume, secondary air volume and burns out air volume.The concentration of NOx at boiler furnace export is700mg/Nm3(dry state,6%oxygen amount) before the transformation; the concentration of NOx at boiler furnace export stabilise below240mg/Nm3(dry state,6%oxygen amount) after the transformation. The test results after the transformation of show that:this transformation solved the problem of furnace coking, and the desuperheating water of overheater and reheater decrease greatly. When burning the coal that suitable for burning, the boiler efficiency achieves the target by more than91.85%, and obtains a good environmental protection benefits and economic benefits.
