With in-depth development of power sector reform and the implementation of the bidding, On the one hand, the power plants need to strive to reduce power generation in all sectors of energy consumption and reduce costs, while on the other hand, more stringent environmental protection requirements, desulfurization and dust removal equipment investment in turn greatly increase the energy consumption of power generation, power plants and energy-saving work is very urgent and arduous. Reduce the power consumption rate and the cost of power generation and improve the competitiveness of the tariff has become the pursuit of the objectives of various thermal power plants. Promote the use of new technologies, new processes, new management is the main way to achieve energy efficiency.Fans, pumps are the most important part in the thermal power plant auxiliary equipment. The total power consumption of the four fan(pressure fan, draught fan,primary air fan.Smoke to fan) of the boiler is about2%to3%of the Capacity of the unit. More than50%of the fan and water pump power consumption accounts for about plant power consumption rate and vast reservoir of energy-saving potential. With the rapid expansion of the installed capacity of thermal power, the peaking intensity of thermal power units is increasing, and unit load range and must regulate the fan speed and pump flow rate in real time. Regulation of traffic means more throttle adjustment. Since this adjustment is only to change the channel flow resistance, the output power of the motor and there is not much change, the result is simply wasted a lot of energy.This paper is to study the application of frequency conversion technology with fans and water pumps energy-saving, through energy efficiency, economic analysis, to determine the importance of frequency transformation. And on this basis, explore the feasibility of condensate pump, out pump, brine circulating pump frequency transformation according to the status of power plants, and to propose viable options and energy conservation and economic analysis. Provide theoretical support and programs to the next step transformation of the power plant, with certain engineering applications.
