Minimally invasive cryotherapy for tumor is attracting more and more clinical attention for itsgood therapeutic effect and great prospect. Cryotherapy equipment that is widely used currently, such as Endocare Cryocare System based on Joule-Thomson effect and other equipmentsbased on phase change are all have some limitations, which limit the development andapplication of this new tumor treatment. This academic subject is precisely to overcomethese limitations, to develop a new cryotherapy system based on liquid nitrogen, whichwill has low refrigeration temperature, fast freezing speed, small surgical wound, lowrunning costs and is simple to operate. As preliminary studies of this subject, this paper focuses on hardware and softwaredesign of the cryotherapy system, experimental research in vitro swine liver based onthe system, and temperature field distribution during the treatment:â‘ According to the monitoring and controlling needs of the cryotherapy system, this paper designed a temperature measurement and display module and verified itsperformance. Meanwhile, control strategy of temperature is also discussed in chapter2.â‘¡In this paper, Experimental research in vitro swine liver with the simplecryotherapy system was implemented to collect temperature data, and to analyze thevariation of the temperature field distribution in the tissue during the freezing process.â‘¢Based on study on the bio-heat transfer theory and the previous experimentalresults, this paper creates physical and mathematical models of vitro swine liver. Andthen, with the limit finite element analysis software FLUENT, the simulation oftemperature field in the swine liver is presented, in-depth study of the thermalparameters used in the simulation is also carried. This article provides a practical reference to clinical cancer therapy and the furtherstudy of this subject.
