Clinical Study Of Diabetes Combined With Periarthritis Of Shoulder Treated With Outlay Traditional Chinese Medicine And Basal Treatment

Objective: To explore the clinical curative effects of outlay traditional Chinesemedicine and basal treatment in treating diabetes combined with periarthritis of shoulder andfind our an effective and safe therapy.Methods:64cases were seclected and randomly divided into the treatment group andthe control group, each group consisted of32cases, both groups were given routine treatmentof diabetes. The control group was given foundamental treatment (including: the massage,intermediate frequency treatment); The treatment group was given basal treatment and outlayChinese traditional medicine, once per day,2weeks for one period of treatment. After treatingfor four weeks, the curative effects were analyzed statistically. Statistical methods: Excelsoftware SPSS16.0was applied to determine the data analysis. χ2test and T-test were used toexamine the related experimental materials.Results: The total curative rate in the treatment group was highter than that of thecontrol group (P <0.05). The total effective rate in improveing the shoulder joint functions ofthe patients in the treatment group was highter than that of the control group (P﹤0.05).There was not significant difference between the two groups concerning VAS scores beforetreatment (P﹥0.05); While after treatment, the VAS scores of the treatment group wassignificantly lower than that of the control group (P﹤0.05) There was not significantdifference between the two groups considering the FMA scores before treatment (P﹥0.05);While after treatment, the FMA scores of the treatment group was obviously higher than thatof the control group (P﹤0.05). There was not significant difference between the twogroups before and after treatment concerning the main indicators in Blood rheology (P﹥0.05).Conclusion: The results show that outlay traditional Chinese medicine combined withbasal therapy can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of the patients, improve thefunctions of shoudler and reduce the VAS score. To raise the FIM scores, and improve theshoulder joint functions and relieve the clinical symptoms of the patients. Outlay traditionalChinese medicine and basal treatment is a safe and effective approach in the treatment ofdiabetes combined with periarthritis of shoulder.
