Objetive: The research aims at discussing the changes and significance of superoxidedismutase and malondialdehyde capacity contents in hypertensive patients at highaltitude, and may be considered as a new rationale of diagnosis, treatment andjudgment prognosis for the hypertension at high altitude. Methods: The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was adopted to detect serumsuperoxide dismutase and malondialdehyde contents of sixty hypertensive group andfifty-eight control group selected in Second Xiangya Hospital of Central SouthUniversity and sixty-three hypertensive group and sixty control group selected inQinghai Hainanzhou People’s Hospital. The diagnostic criteria and blood pressuremeasurement method refer to2005"Chinese Hypertension Prevention Guideline"revision. All these diseases should be excepted:coronary heart disease, secondaryhypertension, chronic heart failure, diabetes and severe other systemic disease. Results:The serum malondialdehyde contents of the hypertensive group at highaltitude and low altitude was higher than that of the control group(P<0.001), theserum superoxide dismutase contents of the hypertensive group at high altitude andlow altitude was lower than control group(P<0.001). The serum malondialdehydecontents of the control group at low altitude was lower than that at high altitude, theserum superoxide dismutase contents of the control group at low altitude was higherthan that at high altitude(P<0.001).The serum malondialdehyde contents of thehypertensive group at high altitude was higher than that of the hypertensive group atlow altitude(P<0.001), the serum superoxide dismutase contents of the hypertensivegroup at high altitude was lower than that of the hypertensive group at lowaltitude(P<0.001).When the diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressureincreased, the contents of superoxide dismutase was decreased, and there was a distinct negative correlation (r=-0.723;-0.646;P<0.001),but when the diastolic bloodpressure and systolic blood pressure increased, the contents of malondialdehyde wasincreased, there was a distinct positive correlation(r=0.608;0.51;P均<0.001).Conclusion: The serum malondialdehyde content of the hypertensive patientsincreases and the superoxide dismutase content decreases compared with those ofnormal people at different altitudes. With the elevation of altitudes, the serummalondialdehyde contents of hypertensive patients and normal people increase andthe superoxide dismutase contents of hypertensive patients and normal peopledecrease. When the diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure increased, superoxide dismutase and diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure were indistinct negative correlation, malondialdehyde and diastolic blood pressure andsystolic blood pressure were in distinct positive correlation. |
