| ObjectiveTo evaluate the pain relief effect of parecoxib sodium (selectivecyclooxygenase-2inhibitor) versus flurbiprofen axetil (non-selectivecyclooxygenase inhibitor) used in patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty inearly short-term functional recovery.MethodsAccording to the inclusion/exclusion criteria,52patients (37female,25male) undergoing unilateral total knee arthroplasty were researched on fromFebruary,2010to January,2011. The observation items used are BAI(anxiety)and BDI(depression), STAI(State-Trait Anxiety Inventory), EPQ(personalitytraits), KSS(the function of the knee), and SF-36(health related quality of life).ResultsThe postoperative values of the BAI,STAI and the BDI are significantly lower than that before the surgery (p <0.01, p <0.01and p <0.01respectively).The postoperative values of the KSS and the SF-36aresignificantly higher than that before the surgery (p <0.01and p <0.01respectively). Neuroticism of EPQ have significantly correlated with PCS (p=0.001and p <0.001) and MCS (p <0.001and p <0.001) before and after thesurgery perioperatively. The preoperative and postoperative KSS don’t havegood goodness-of-fit with preoperative psychological scores (r2=0.12and r2=0.25). KSS function score at six months postoperatively and TAI have negativecorrelation with neuroticism (p <0.05and p <0.001), and positive correlationwith extroversion (p <0.05).ConclusionThe patients with unilateral total knee resurfacing arthroplasty at onemonth and six months postoperatively, the knee function and health-relatedquality of life have greatly improved, but the effect are affected by neuroticism, trait anxiety and depression and other mental factors as a negative impact. Theabove factors should be taken seriously when the patients’ rehabilitation andsocial re-adaptation start to prepare. |
