| Objective:To investigate the expression of p21ras and p73in endometrioid adenocarcinoma and its clinical significance. We expect that they may be a important biomarker the message early screening of high-risk subjects and pathologic diagnose of endometrioid adenocarcinoma in reference. It is helpful for get the message the early endometrioid adenocarcinoma biological behaviour and come up with direction in the targeted therapy.Methods:Form The Frist Clinical Medical College shan xi Medical University department of pathology,95cases paraffin embedded the endometrioid tissue samples were collected between March,2006and October,2010.61cases endometrioid adenocarcinoma with clear pathological diagnosis (36cases in well-differentiated,25cases in poorly differentiated or moderately differentiated).Choose15cases normal proliferating endometrial and19cases atypical endometrial tissues. Every case consent to this empirical study and with completely clinical pathology document. No one is doubted by pathologist. In all cases, they are not the history of hormone replacement therapyã€radiotherapy or hemotherapy before diagnostic curettage or operation. Amang61cases endometrioid adenocarcinoma, according2000year FIGO operation-pathology Staging,37cases I stage,15cases â…¡ stage and9casesâ…¢ stage;7cases lymph node metastasis,54cases no lymph node metastasis;35cases the depth of myometrial invasion<1/2,others one≥1/2.All choosen samples conserve completely paraffin embedded the endometrioid tissue,after thickness4μm sect serial sections, pathologist reexamine and affirm it. Immunohistochemistry was applied to detect the expression of p21ras and p73protein in15cases of normal proliferating endometrial tissuse,19cases of atypical hyperplasia and61cases of endometrioid adenocarcinoma. All data were processed by SPSS version17.0analysis software.Results:p21ras no express in normal proliferating endometrial tissues0%(0/15), The positive rates of p21ras in atypical hyperplasia and endometrioid adenocarcinoma tissues is31.58%(6/19) and72.13%(44/61). The positive rates of p21ras in endometrioid adenocarcinoma tissues obviously higher than proliferating endometrial and atypical hyperplasia ones. Statistic significance in three diffrent groups.(χ2=29.348, P<0.01) p73low express in normal proliferating endometrial tissuse, The positive rates of p73protein gradually increased from normal proliferating endometrial tissuse to endometrioid adenocarcinoma. There were respectively6.67%(1/15)ã€31.58%(6/19)ã€67.21%(41/61).Statistic significance in three diffrent groups.(χ2=21.067,P<0.01)With the development of endometrial tissues progression, The positive rates of p21ras and p73gradually increased from normal proliferating endometrial tissuse to endometrioid adenocarcinoma (P<0.01). There was a positive correlation between p73and p21ras in endometrioid adenocarcinoma (χ2=7.250, P<0.01)Expression of p21ras and p73was associated with the histologic grade(P<0.05), but not related with clinical stageã€myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis.Conclusion:1. The positive rates of p21ras and p73gradually increased from normal proliferating endometrial tissuse to endometrioid adenocarcinoma. It suggest that the activations of p21ras and p73may be correlated with the genesis and development of endometrioid adenocarcinoma.2. The expression of p21ras and p73had positive correlation and they can promomted each other.3. Expression of p21ras and p73was associated with the histologic grade(P<0.05), but not related with clinical stageã€myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis. |
