Review On The Effects And Mechanism Of Qing Kai Ling Injection (QKL) In Curing Cerebral Ischemia And Assessment Of Its Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) And The Probable Causes

Traditional Chinese medicine has shown the dominant effect in treating some disease, such as the cerebral ischemia, because we have a verity of herbs. Traditional Chinese medicine usually use these methods in curing cerebral ischemia, they are herb formulas, Chinese medicine inject ion, acupuncture etc.Qin Kai Ling injection (QKL) is made from traditional Chinese medicine formulation "An Gong Niu Huang Wan", which is widely used in treating lots of diseases and has so much good effects. In this review, I summarized the effects and mechanism of QKL in curing cerebral ischemia, showing the BBB and nerves protection effects, by promoting the expression of Z0-1,6-keto-PDF1α eNOS protein, inhibit the expression of ET-1, TXB2in the areas of ischemia.Secondly, since everything has two sides, QKL has caused some kind of adverse drug reaction (ADR), in this part Ⅰ summarize the characters of these reactions on acting time, patient syndromes, doses of QKL, also shows the possible explanations, especially the researches on the chlorogenic acid(AC), of these cause and effect relationships, on the data from all over the world.
