Research backgroundMotor neuron disease is a degenerative diseases which selective group of impair the anterior horn cells of the spinal cord and brainstem motor neurons, cortical pyramidal cells and vertebral beam chronic, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is the main type of motor neuron disease, accounting for more than80%-90%of the motor neuron disease, Many experts considered it is the eventual development of end-result of other motor neuron disease subtypes. At present the etiology and pathogenesis has not yet clear, also lack of effective treatment methods, it is the world abilities. And there are some research in motor neuron disease pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation and treatment of Chinese medicine.Research objectiveThis research adopted the prospective case analysis and combined a modern mathematical statistics method to discuss the influence of jian pi yi fei fa to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis patients’motor function the quality of life, and TCM syndromes, in order to further instruct clinically.Research methodAccording to the literature available and the expert consultancy, took the international universal scales of ALSFRS scale, ALSAQ-40. Used the prospective research technique, took the patients which had been clinical diagnosed determinately as the research objects, gave the treatment of jian pi yi fei zhong yao for2months, finally evaluated the relative targets of motor function and the quality of life, including the treatment before and after it1and2months. It used SPSS17.0software package to record and inspect the data, used the description analysis, one-way anova, paired-samples T Test and rank sum test methods to carry on the statistical analysis for discussing the influence of jian pi yi fei fa to ALS patients’motor function and the quality of life.Research resultsIn this research,28cases were collected, inculed17male patients and11female patients.The statistic results indicate, before and after the treatment1and2months, there was no statistics difference between the28ALS patients’motor function integral(P>0.05). ALSFRS-R scale total score P=0.594(ANOVA).The statistic results indicate, before and after the treatment1and2months, there was no statistics difference between the28ALS patients’ quality of lives (P>0.05), such as living ability, eating ability, social skills. ALSAQ40scale total score P=0.738(ANOVA).Cone l us i onJian pi yi fei fa can’t improve ALS patients’motor function and the quality of life in zhe Statistics, but in clinical we fand it can stabilize the most of the patients’clinical symptoms, slow the Speed of progression, Improve the quality of life.
