The Clinical Research Of Coix Seed Oil Combined With FOLFOX4for Treatment Of Colorectal Cancer

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and toxicity of Coix seed oil-Kanglaite injection combined with FOLFOX4on the colorectal cancer patients.Methods We meet the inclusion criteria, patients with colorectal cancer patients were randomly average divided into treatment and control groups. The control group patients used only the systemic chemotherapy with FOLFOX4while in the treatment group, patients used the systemic chemotherapy of FOLFOX4combing with Kanglaite injection. Both groups were to be evaluated in the efficacy and toxicity after the end of therapy of two cycles.Results The treatment of both the two groups of40patients were completed. In accordance with the assessment of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome markedly and efficient, control group and treatment group were85.0%and50.0%(P<0.05); Karnofsky ratings in treatment group increased compared with before treatment (P<0.05),and after treatment, the Karnofsky score significantly increased in the treatment group compared with the control group;The QOL score of treatment group increased after treatment while no significant change in QOL score before and after treatment in control groups; After treatment,the level of CD3+and CD4+increased than before in treatment group (P<0.05),and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+was significantly increased (P<0.01), while the control group had no significant change. The incidence of leukopenia of treatment group was lower than the control group (P<0.05), other adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal reactions and peripheral nerve toxicity were no significant difference.Conclusions Coix seed oil combined with FOLFOX4for the treatment of colorectal cancer patients can effectively improve the patient’s physical condition and quality of life, reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and enhance the immune function, and it is safe and reliable.
