Purpose and Significance:Firstly, through the clinical investigation to the children with recurrent respiratory tract infections, to understand their classification situation of their constitution, to guide the clinic medical works. Secondly, investigate the relevant physical characteristics before and after treatment in some children who are treated with Chinese medicine and Daily nursing, and make a comparison to understand the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine and Daily nursing to improve the constitution.Study methods:make the physical classification through clinical investigation, the all data is processed by the statistical software of SPSS16.0, and the measurement data is processed with T-test, the categorical data is processed with rank sum test.Results:in the147cases of children with recurrent respiratory tract infections,87cases of male (59.18%),60cases of female (40.82%), male to female ratio is1.45:1. The age of first attack is more in less than2years old, the children with the first attack after6years old are less, and the age of onset is more in preschool; The main season is spring and winter, and the children born in those seasons are susceptible to illness; There is a certain relationship between allergic reaction and respiratory tract infections, of them, allergic rhinitis is the most. Most children have bad eating habits such as particular and partial to food or anorexia. The larger percentage of children with respiratory tract infections present the lung deficiency tending to qi insufficiency, yin insufficiency and qi-yin insufficiency, the spleen deficiency tending to qi insufficiency, the lung-spleen deficiency tending to qi insufficiency, yin insufficiency and qi-yin insufficiency, of them,27cases of children with phlegmatic dampness,22with phlegmatic heat. Through investigation to some children who are treated with Chinese medicine, their constitutions have not changed, but some relevant features have improved, it confirms the physical nature of changeability and provides reference for finding new ideas and methods to prevent and treat the children with respiratory tract infections.Discussion:As the characteristics of children’s constitution is transmissibility and variety, to classify the constitution through the clinical investigation. Children’s constitution is adjustable and can be improved through Daily nursing and Chinese medicine.
