Synergism Of Miconazole And Berberine Against Cliniacal Isolates Of Candida Albicans Resisitant To Miconazole

Drug-resistance always make anti-fungal treatment failure, and new drugs are limit.Synergism is an effective way to makeup drug-resistance problems. We investigated thesynergic effect in vitro between miconazole and berberine. Microdilution test, spot assay,growth curve are the methods we used. And we watched the ultra-structure after drugs’treatment, studied the influences of drugs on cell cycles, determined the changes ofergosterol and so on to learn how the two drugs develop synergetic effects.In animal experiment,we can see that the surface seems alike,when we get skinsamples and watch the recover information by PAS staining,we can find that deep underthe skin there are always fungi left alive no matter in the moynihan cream we madeourself group or in Dakening group which bought on the counter,but synergic group ismuch better for it can kill the fungi deep under the skin.And we also do some experiments on the influences of compounds on DCFH-DAused in determine ROS.
