This dissertation contains and three chapters. The investigation of Actinidia genusand mangroves from Guangxi was summarized in recent years in chapter1. Chapter2consists of the antioxidant activity and investigation of chemical constituent for theroots of Actinidia latifolia (Gardn. et Champ.) Merr, Chapter3consists of theantioxidant activity and investigation of chemical constituent for the roots ofAcrostichum aureum Linn from Guangxi. Brief introduction of every chapter asfollowed:Chapter1the exordiumA survey of the investigation about Actinidia genus and mangroves fromGuangxi in recent years was given in this chapter, inchluding chemical constituentsand biological activities, the roots of Actinidia genus had remarkable anticanceractivity, mangroves had novel structure compounds and remarkable biological activities, the aim of this investigation is also accouted.Chapter2the antioxidant activity and investigation of chemical constituent forthe roots of Actinidia latifolia (Gardn. et Champ.) MerrThe dried ethanolic extract was extracted with Petroleum ether,CHCl3,EtOAcand n-BuOH respectively, and different polarity solvents were got.The scavenging effect ofthe CHCl3extract and totel ethanolic extract were better than BHT’s by DPPH radicalscavenging. The extracts of CHCl3and EtOAc had a equivalent Total reduction capacity. The major volatile components of petroleum ether extracts were plant tripenoid acidesters and fatty acid esters by GC-MS analysis. The constituents and contents ofextraacts of EtOAc, n-BuOH and aqueous were nalysed amply by HPLC-MS.Theextracts of petroleum ether and CHCl3were subjected to scilica gel CC and PTLC,andsix compounds were isolated from this plant.Three known compounds wereestablished as Dibutyl phthalate(MHT-1),2β,3β,23-trihydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic-acid(MHT-2),2β,3α,24-trihydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic-acid(MHT-3),based on spectral meth ods and comparison with standard substance, three compounds were isolated from thisplant for the first time,MHT-1was isolated from Actinidia genus for the first time.Chapter3the antioxidant activity and investigation of chemical constituent forthe roots of Acrostichum aureum Linn from GuangxiThe roots of Acrostichum aureum Linn were smashed, soaked with ethanolic andconcentrated. The totel ethanolic extracts extracted with Petroleum ether, EtOAc andn-BuOH respectively.and different polarity solvents were got. The scavenging effect forthe extracts of the EtOAc were better than BHT’s by DPPH radical scavenging, theextracts of EtOAc had a equivalent Total reduction capacity. Unsaturated fatty acids had aproportion in volatile components of petroleum ether extracts by GC-MS analysis. The inorganic elements with more contents from the roots as followed by ICP-AESand IPC-MS::Al,Fe,Na,K,Mg,Ca,Mn. The extracts of petroleum ether and EtOAcwere subjects to scilica gel CC and PTLC, and four compounds were isolated from theroots.two known compounds were established as Dibutyl phthalate(MHT-1or LJ-1)and β-sitosterol (LJ-2) based on spectral methods and comparison with standard subs-tance.MHT-1or LJ-1was isolated from this plant for the first time.
