| The roots of Cinnamomum camphora(L)Sieb is the roots of the lauraceae perennial woody plants camphor.It can dispel wind-dampness and promote flow of qi and blood circulation.It can be used for treatment for kinds of diseases,such as rheumatism,limb and joint pain,bruises and scabies,etc.According to the literature,it is found that the chemical constituents of Cinnamomum camphora is not thorough.To control and improve the quality of the roots of Cinnamomum camphora,the study on chemical constituents of the roots of Cinnamomum camphora was carried on.Seven compounds were isolated from the roots of Cinnamomum camphora.one of them is a new compound named cinnamomdiol A.The other known compounds were determined as 3-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl)-propane-1,2-diol,3-(3.4-methylenedioxyphenyl)-propane-1,2,3-diol、taxifolin、grasshopper ketone、orange pigment and epicatechin by detailed spectroscopic analysis and comparison of their spectral data with reported values in the literatures.The six known compounds were isolated from the title plant for the first time.It is reported in the human body taxifolin has a variety of biologically active as antivirus,antioxidant,scavenging free radicals,anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.The pharmacological activity has a relationship with its function.To study,it is found the content of taxifolin is high in the roots of Cinnamomum camphora,so we choose the active ingredient to control the quality of the roots of Cinnamomum camphora.We have adopted HPLC to determine the content of taxifolin in the roots of Cinnamomum camphora.The method:the separation was performed in a ODS column with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.1%phosphoric acid(15:85).The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1,and the detecting wavelength was at 288nm.Results:The linear ranges of taxifolin were 0.0409~0.8184μg.The average recovery is 97.46%and RSD is 1.3%.The method is good reproducibility.With the development of technology,the characteristic spectrum is an important means to the quality control of traditional Chinese medicine.A characteristic spectrum was made for The roots of Cinnamomum camphora,and the reference are cinnamomdiol A,3-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl)-propane-1,2-diol and taxifolin.We have determined the contents of taxifolin.and made the characteristic spectrum in ten groups of the roots and stems of Cinnamomum camphora collected in Jiangxi and neighboring province.The method is accurate with good reproducility and can be used for the quality control of the roots of Cinnamomum camphora.Compared the contents of taxifolin of the roots to the stems and matched their characteristic spectrum,the results are the roots and the stems of Cinnamomum camphora are common in chemical constituents.The research is a basis for expansion of medicinal parts for the roots of Cinnamomum camphora and for the purpose of making good use of Cinnamomum camphora. |
