| The purpose of the study was to examine the Impact of human resource planning on employee performance in the organization Mulago Branch, Kampala District.The objectives of the study included; To establish how employee recruitment is done in Mulago hospital. To establish the impact of employee recruitment on employee performance in Mulago hospital; To establish the impact of placement on employee performance in Mulago hospital; To establish the impact of training on employee performance in Mulago hospitalIn order to achieve the above objectives, i used questionnaires, interviews and observation methods. Although the primary data was used other means not limited to library achieves, internet search engines and published reports were employed in the compilation of the study. The data from the field was analysed through tabulations and pie charts. The findings from the study revealed that the human resource planning has got a significant impact on the performance of the employees in an organisation. The findings enabled me to make the following recommendations.· ICT advancements should be adopted; these should be undertaken to apply computerized proceedings in the organization, computerization allows standardization and also eases the operations of the employees improving on their performance.· Monitoring and supervision should be emphasized to the maximum because it eliminates the possible occurrence of under performance the employees.· The transfers of public servants who have served in the hospital for a lengthy period, this is so because employees who have served in an organization for a long time are usually resistant to change and also perform more inefficiently as time elapses; additionally the researcher recommended areas for further research which included the following; An assessment of employee turnover in organizations in Uganda, An investigation on the role of performance appraisal on the stability of staff in an organization. |
