The use of screw fixation of18cases,12males and6females; left10cases,8cases of right; age19-51years, mean (36.8±4.7) years.Assessment of two groups of operative time, hospital stay, postoperative scoreaccording to the standard ankle-foot follow-up observation and X-ray observation ofrecovery effect, the monitoring of postoperative complications, the results of the datafor statistical analysis, and evaluation of two surgical way of treatment.Results30patients were followed up for3to12months, average (4.7±0.6) months,the screw fixation group, operative time averaged84±17.6minutes, the button suturefixation group average of98±23.3minutes (P>0.05); screw fixation group, the average days of hospitalization was11±3.8days, the button suture fixation groupaverage of12±2.6days (P>0.05); AOFAS score after3months were91.7%,83.3%(P>0.05), screw fixed group1patients after10weeks, broken nails, buttonssuture fixation group seamless line of fracture, internal fixation failures occurred;postoperative X-ray ankle hole shift; button suture system and screw inferiortibiofibular joint damage have a significant effect in the fixation in the treatment ofankle function after surgery was no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion1. Cortical bone screw fixation of the tibiofibular joint separation iseffective, its fixed and therapeutic effect, but there is often the risk of broken nails.2.Button suture system as an emerging treatment of tibiofibular syndesmosis separationsurgery, with a micro-existence and early weight-bearing, more in line with thephysiological characteristics, there is no fatigue fracture of implants allows the inferiortibiofibular reset the results will not loss, complications, without routine out and so anumber of advantages.3. Button suture system and the cortical bone screws, twosurgical way of treating inferior tibiofibular joint separation of fixed and treatment and,it has achieved a good therapeutic effect. The two groups during surgery duration ofpatient hospital days, recovery of joint function, postoperative complications, nostatistically significant by statistical analysis (P>0.05).
