| Objective:The aim of our research is going to find out the out-patients’knowledge and fears of AIDS in the teriary general hospital. Based on the collected data, the health condition, levels of depression-anxiety-stress,the knowledge and atitude to AIDS and the level of anxiety of AIDS of the participants can be analyzed, in order to find out the influencing factors.Methods:Using random sampling method, out-patients in the teriary general hospital, who have psysical examination during May2009to May2010, took part in the questionnaire survey, then supplied some in August2011. All the data collected by professionals. After data having been disposaled and coded, we used SPSS15.0to process the data. Statistical methods includes descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and correlation analysis.Results:There are410respondants filled up the questionnair,408out of them are valid.(1) The mean score of CHQ-12is2.18±2.62which means all the participants are in a good health condition;(2) DASS-21have good reliability, the mean score is24.45±22.5. Respectively, the scores of depression, anxiety and stress are7.42± 8.18,7.70±7.88,9.33±8.15. Also, the score of stress is significantly higher than the other two scores (p<0.05);(3) The rate of participants to be aware of knowledge about AIDS reached43.81%. Degree of education and geographical residence are the two influecing factors which reflects in the total score of AIDS questionnaire;(4) the mean of MAAQ is36.47±35.29. The level of anxiety among the participants is very different;(5) The correlations between the scores of CHQ-12and DASS-21, AIDS, MAAQ are0.481,0.192,0.287respectively, which is significant in statistics(p<0.01); and the correlations between the scores of AIDS and DASS-21, MAAQ are0.163,0.383. They are also significant(p<0.01). However, there is no correlation beween the score of AIDS questionnaire and MAAQ.Conclusion:(1)The health condition of out-patients in the teriary general hospital still in the area of low score;(2) parts of participants are aware of the knowledge of AIDS, but the rate of it is low. They learned about AIDS from the traditional paths. Degree of education and geographical residence are the two influecing factors which reflects in the total score of AIDS questionnaire;(3) the level of anxiety about AIDS is low; (4)the.worse the health condition and the higher level of depression, anxiety and stress of individual is,the less knowledge of AI DS is grasped and the higher level of anxiety about AIDS is. |
