The result show11chemicals are L-AscorbylDipalmitate; Palmitic acid;3β,5-Epoxy-A-homo-5β-cholesta-4-ene-3α-ol;Stigmasterol; β-Sitosterol; Aloin; Dcoosanoic acid,1,2,3,-propanetriyl ester; Ethyliso-allocholate; Dioscin; Proscillondin A; Cinnamic acid,4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-,{5-hydroxy-2-hydroxymethyl-6-[2-(4-hydroxyl-3-methoxyphenyl) ethoxy]-4-(6-methyl-3,4,5-trihydroxytetrahydropyran-2-yloxy)tetrahydropyran-3-yl}ester respectively. Pharmacological studies suggest then-butanol fraction of the alcohol extraction from Dioscorea benthamii Prain et Burkillhave the effection of nourishing the kidney-yin.
