Objective: Through study of the effects of Xu-zao-geng-ping-powder in menopausehypertension rats on histomorphology change of BP, BPV and CA, NPY, NT, E2, FSH, LHresearch to explore reverses reduce the BP and BPV possible mechanism in menopausehypertension rats. Methods: Established menopause hypertension rats model by operating, model evaluate by the vaginal smear and serum sex hormone levels in rats. Randomlydivided into menopause hypertension TCM medicines, menopause hypertension westernmedicine, menopause hypertension control group, fake surgery group, SHR group andWistar is a normal control group. Respectively to intragastric administrationxu-zao-geng-ping-granule to menopause hypertension TCM medicines group, valsartancapsule to menopause hypertension western medicine group and saline solution to theothers groups. Instrument for non-invasive measurement of blood pressure(BP) in animals,at weekly measurements twice all of the arterial blood pressure of rats to comparedifferent groups in arterial BP for observing the changes in BP of rats. Comparativeobservation changes of BP, BPV and CA, NPY, NT, E2, FSH, LH in different groups.Results:1.By results of the vaginal smear and serum sex hormone levels in menopausehypertension model for evaluating success: compared with the fake surgery group andSHR group, model rats after operation, menopause hypertension rats serum E2, T, P levelssignificantly reduced(P<0.05); menopause hypertension rats serum FSH, LH levelssignificantly increased(P<0.05).2.BP: TCM medicines group and western medicinegroup’s BP is significantly declined(P<0.05).3.BPV: compared with the menopausehypertension control group, TCM medicines group and western medicine group’s BPV issignificantly declined(P<0.05).4. Neurotransmitter indices: compared with the menopausehypertension control group, TCM medicines group and western medicine group’s BPV issignificantly increased(P<0.05).5. Endocrine indices: compared with the menopause hypertension control group, TCM medicines group’s E2is declined(P<0.05); TCMmedicines group’s FSH, LH is increased(P<0.05). Conclusion:1. Through the removal ofessential hypertension in rat ovaries can be successfully established menopausehypertension rats model.2. The xu-zao-geng-ping-granule can reduce the climacterichypertension rats’ BP and BPV.3. The xu-zao-geng-ping-granule can regulation theneurotransmitter and endocrine indices of the climacteric hypertension rats which in orderto improve the menopause hypertension rats’ internal environment.
