Observation Of Clinical Curative Effect Of Hooked Needle With Lumbrici Decoction In The Treatment Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation

Objective:Observe the clinical curative effect of hooked needle with lumbrici decoction in treating lumbar intervertebral disc herniation(L4-5、blood stasis syndrome). Methods:From December2009to February2012,collected63cases of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation(L4-5、blood stasis syndrome) patients for a prospective study,who were in outpatient or hospitalized department of orthopedics in The People’s Hospital of Fujian Province. All patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(hooked needle+lumbrici decoction)and the control group (acupuncture+lumbrici decoction). signs and curative efftect was evaluated based on the VAS(visual simulation pain score), JOA Lumbago disorders curative effete evaluation standard, both before and after clinical treatement.Results:This clinical study has not occurred during a adverse reactions andsafety accidents, all patients followed up for an average of14days, were not found significant complications. After treatment, in the treatment group,10cases were controlled well,19cases were marked effect,2cases were effect,1case was no effect; In control group,1case was controlled well,16cases were marked effect,11cases were effect,3case was no effect.And the clinical effectiveness of the treatment group was96.88%, which was higher than of the90.32%in control group (P<0.05)。Through comparisoning the two groups of patients’scores,which were based on the VAS(visual simulation pain score), JOA Lumbago disorders curative effete evaluation standard afte the treatment ended one week, P<0.05.In respect of pain relief, symtoms improvement and function restoring, the treatment group did obviouly better than the control group. Conclusion:The curative effete of hooked needle with lumbrici decoction in the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation(L4-5、blood stasis syndrome) is distinct,safe and reliable.
