| Objective:Based on the former applied dissection, observe the efficacy of the specific knife-needle treatment and the acupunture on external humeral epicondylitis, hence to provide some references experience for the popularity of knife-needle treatment on the external humeral epicondylitis. Methods:According to the diagnostic standards of "Efficacy of TCM Diagnostic Criteria for Certification" prescribed by State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in1994, this study concentrates on39patients of the external humeral epicondylitis. The study begins in dividing these patients randomly into two groups:the treated-by-Knife-needle group and the treated-by-acupuncture group. With the earlier research results of the Knife-needle operations on soft tissue injuries of the elbow, using the special method, operated by knife-needle of Zhu Hanzhang to do the needle knife dissection, the treated-by-Knife-needle group will be treated once a week,3times a course of treatment. The treated-by-acupuncture group will be taken the points of the disease side such as:Ashi point, Zhouliao, Quchi, Shousanli, Hegu etc, once a day,20times as a course of treatment. After a course of treatment, the study will make an assessment of the efficacy of these two treatments on the severity of pain and the function of elbow of the patients and then make a comparison between the efficacy of these two treatments.Results:(1)Compare the score of the severity of pain of the patients before and after the knife-needle treatment with the score of elbow function of the JOA,there is a significant difference between them(P<0.05).(2) Compare the score of the severity of pain of the patients before and after the acupuncture treatment with the score of elbow function of the JOA,there is a significant difference between them(P<0.05).(3)Compare the decrease of the score of the severity of the pain of the knife-needle group and the acupuncture group after treatment with the increase of the score of the elbow function of the JOA,there is a significant difference between them(P<0.05).(4)Compare the clinical efficacy between the knife-needle group and the acupuncture group after treatment, there is a significant difference between them(P<0.05).(5)The Comparison of the total efficacy between the knife-needle group and the acupuncture group finds that there is no significant difference between them(P>0.05).(6) The Comparison of the follow-up data between the knife-needle group and the acupuncture group after treatment, there is a significant difference between them(P<0.05). Conclusion:Conclusion:(1)Both specific knife-needle therapy and acupuncture can ease the pain of the patients of the external humeral epicondylitis, while at the same time, improve the function of elbow.(2) The specific knife-needle therapy is better than acupuncture therapy on easing the pain and improve function of the patients of the external humeral epicondylitis.(3) The specific knife-needle therapy has a better clinical effect than acupuncture therapy on the external humeral epicondylitis curing, and there is no significant difference between the total efficacy of these two therapies.(4) The specific knife-needle treatment is a better therapy for the patients of the external humeral epicondylitis, due to its fast effect, short course of treatment and low recurrence. |
