| Object:The thesis finds out the existed characteristics of the utilization of healthservices, discusses the relation between resolveã€adaptationã€general family characteristicsand medical care choices, and then compares the differences and relations between medicaltreatment process and family-related characteristics under the condition that patients are incountry hospitals. The thesis also analyses the family characteristics which influence thepatients to choose hospitals as well as the way they affect the choices made by patients. Incombination with social features reflected by the family in different areas, the thesisprovides the reference and basis for the formulation of government economic policy, theoptimal allocation of resources and the management and decision-making of the healthagency.Methods: The thesis defines the factors through literature research and insiderinterviews. In Shandong province, the author selected a country at random as the site of thesurvey. The objects were the patients who got treatment in country hospital when the surveywas conducted. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, single factor andmulti-factor statistical inference.Results: As for the patients hospitalized in the country-level institutions, the factors ofsignificant disparity, which determines whether they will go to country hospital for the firstdiagnosis, contain annual household income, health expenditures, possible institutions,family structures, demographic characteristics of the head of the family and familyfunctions; polynomial logistics results show that the main factors, which affect the patientsto choose country-level institutions for the first diagnosis, are economic factor, burdenfactor, functional factor, disease factors and possible factor.Conclusion: There are many factors which have influenced on the treatment behaviorsof the patients hospitalized in the country-level institutions. When disease is not heave, themain factor affecting residents’ choosing is geographic accessibility. And when diseasebecome heave, other factors will affect. In terms of family, annual household income,geography, functions and structure, and awareness of the disease all have direct or indirectimpacts on the choices. With household income increasing, people tenting to high-level medical institutions. Disease awareness determines intrinsic motivation of choosinginstitutions. And families’ complete structure and good function make the members askingsupport and help from their family rather than advanced medical technology. |
