Object:To observe the immediate analgesia effect on lumbar disc herniation treated with heavy-moxibustion combined with needling compared to conventional moxibustion combined with needling. As the research moxibustionand for clinical treatment prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc pain more safeand effective choice of sticks to provide the reference.Methods:60patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group. Observation group,30cases were treated with heavy-moxibustion combined with needling on Ashi point, and control group30cases were treated with conventional moxibustion combined with needling on Ashi point, both treatment lasted30min. The effect was assessed using visual analogue scale (VAS) at1h,2h,4h and8h after treatment. Besides, pain recurrence compliance, security were also evaluated as secondary index.Results:(1)60patients with complete research, compliance is good, without adverse events.(2) Two groups of patients baseline material consistent, no statistical difference (P>0.05)(3) Two groups have statistical differences at8h and24h after treatment but1h、2h、4h for pain relief, both good compliance, no serious adverse event occurred.Conclusion:Acupuncture and moxibustion is to alleviate the pain of intervertebral disc effective treatments. Two groups after treating8h time exist significant differences in curative effect.24h after treatment, on the Pain relief and curative effect duration the observation group is better than the control group. Heavy-moxibustion combined with needling on Ashi point is better than conventional moxibustion combined with needling in treating lumbar disc herniation.
