The Clinical Reaserch On Using The Fufang Huangbai Ye To Treat Scalp Seborrheric Dermatitis

Objective:To evaluate the treatment effect of "Fufang Huangbai Ye" in treating the seborrheric dermatitis on scalp, which belongs to the pattern of moist-heat being excessive in the interior in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), through observing clinical effects. For the clinical treatment of seborrheic dermatitis provides a more convenient and effective traditional Chinese medicine treatment.Metheods:We divided100cases into two groups at random according to the different treatment applied.50cases in the cure group, treated by "Fufang Huangbai Ye".50cases in the control group, treated with "Selenium Sulfide". To evaluate the treatment effect by comparing clinncal symptoms scores4weeks later, and analyze it with the software of SPSS17.0for windows.Results:Clinical observation show that the total effective rate of treatment group was91.67%while that of control group was87.23%. There was no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05) from the total effective rata. The clinncal symptoms scores of the two groups both got better obviously, but treatment group was better than control group in controlling the illness recur, there was no any obvious side effects which make patients drop out.Conclusion:"Fufang Huangbai Ye"can improve the patients’clinical symptoms without any obvious poisonous side effect.lt was an effective decoction to treat seborrheric dermatitis on scalp, which belongs to the pattern of moist-heat being excessive in the interior in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), there was no any obvious discrepancy in curative effect between Fufang Huangbai Ye and Selenium Sulfide. but Fufang Huangbai Ye was better than Selenium Sulfide in controlling the illness recur.
