A Retrospective Study About Schizophrenia Patients Who Taking Risperidone In Hospital

ObjectiveTo research the datas, effects, safety of schizophrenia patients who takingrisperidone in hospital.Material and methodThe objects were schizophrenia patients who taking risperidone in hospital, andthey were chosed from Shenyang Center of Mental Health being hospital. Theobjects were3001patients. The study used retrospectivestudy and the scale ofTESS，PANSS and BPRS. The material included population information, illnessrelative information, laboratory information, scale marks and drug side-effect.ResultsThe features of schizophrenia patients who taking risperidone in hospital: Malewere50.6%and female were49.4%. There was no significant difference (P＞0.05).The Han nationality was97.3%and the married were90.4%. The degree ofeducation junior hight school was24.1%and that of senior high school was58.7%.They were81.3%living in cities and18.3%living in villages and towns.The dose of risperidone was2-8mg/d and the mean dose was4.66±3.84mg/d.From the2nd week, the PANSS and BPRS reduded rate was decreased obviously. Inthe8th week, the PANSS scale was decreased very obviously. From the2nd week,patients with elevation of serum prolactin were increased obviously.ConclusionThe Male/Female rate of hospitalized patients with schizophrenia was simlar.The patients were mainly married and the degree of education was junior high schooland senior high school. They were mainly lived in cities. The patients were mainrecurrent. Hypertension and diabetes was common somatic diseases. The disease of major patients was progressive in the8th week. Risperidone is a safe drug andpatients can tolerate. But the elevation of serum prolactin numbers increased make itused trapped in women patients.
