Objective Clinical significance of Bone metabolic markers in the diagnosis and treatment of osseous metastasis of solid tumor. Methods80patients with bone metastases, Amino-terminal telopeptide of type I collage(NTx)was studied as bone destruction markers. Bone-specific alkaline phosphatase(BALP) were measured in serum of the patients as markers of bone formatin.Check-up regularly(once two months) and evaluate the recent curative effect. Results The concentration of uNTx, sBALP in patients with bone metastases was higher than the upper limit of normal range.Concentration and bone metastases load positively correlated(P<0.05).The markers were not correlated with cancer pain. The levels of uNTx and BALP in patients with bone metastasis were no correlation with overall survival. Logistic regression analysis showed that the number of bone metastases and the concentration of uNTx, and sBALP are impact term efficacy. Conclusion After bone metastasis.the concentration of BALP and uNTx was significantly higher than that of normal, at different types of bone metastases the markers were all increased. The elevated level of load is associated with bone metastasis, no significant correlation with the degree of pain. Before and after treatment, changes of bone metabolism markers was related to the incidence of SREs, Continuous monitoring of bone metabolism markers can predict bone tissue with early changes.to provide reference for early bone metastasis, provide active treatment measures, improve the quality life of patients.
