| Part one.Study on the chemical constituents of Celastrus orbiculatus Thunb.Celastrus orbiculatus Thunb.is widespread in China,its stem,leaf and fruit have been used as Chinese material medica for a long time.Celastrus orbiculatus Thunb.has effect on removing rheumatism and promoting blood flow,and has been used as traditional herbal medicines in the relief of muscle and joints pain,limbs anesthesia, infantile convulsion and dysentery.To find other active constituents which are similar to celastrol,a systematical investigation on the chemical constituents of the root bark of Celastrus orbicculatus Thunb.was carried out,five compounds were isolated and identified respectively as celastrol(NST-1)ã€pristimerine(NST-2)ã€sitosterin(NST-3)ã€friedelin(NST-4)ã€29- Caffeoyloxy friedelin(NST-5),29- Caffeoyloxy friedelin(NST-5)had been confirmed as a new compound.Part two.Study on the chemical constituents of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge.Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge.,a kind of a rare woody oil crop,is nearly distributed only in China,its stem and fruit have been used as Chinese material medica for a long time.The wood of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge.has been used in the Inner Mongolia to cure rheumatic arthritis and calor internus,skin eczema,scurvy etc,and the kernal has been used successfully as folk medicines to cure infantile enuresis.Even though the systematical study of the pharmacological action of the wood of the Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge.is seldom,anti-inflammatory acitivity of n-butanol part has been confirmed in the animal experiment.To illuminate its anti-inflammatory ingredients further,the n-butanol part of the wood of the Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge.have been investigated systematically,9 flavones were isolated and identified respectively as(2Rã€3R)—dihydromyricetin(WGM-1)ã€myricetin(WGM-2)ã€quercetin(WGM-3)ã€(2R 3S)-catechin(WGM-4)ã€gallocatechin(WGM-5)ã€(2Rã€3R) -3,3’,5,5’,7-pentahydroxyflavanone(WGM-6)ã€(2S)-3,4’,5’5,7-pentahydroxyflavanone (WGM-7)ã€(-)epigallocatechin(WGM-9)ã€proanthocyanidin A2(WGM-Z),WGM-1ã€4ã€6ã€7 were isolated from xanthoceras for the first time. |
