The Decorative Language Studies Of Wartercolor

Watercolor as an independent painting, has been referred to as "light music" in the painting,with it’s artistic charm of perfectly clear and bright color.Because watercolor painting tools and materials, and other kinds of painting are different, so unique ontology expression language. With the development of society the diversity of artistic language as well as aestheticneeds to improve.The watercolorist also constantly explore new forms of language, So in order to pursue a higher level of aesthetic experience and expression, thus promoting the watercolor constant development. Decorative language has a long history with humans,the development of human spiritual and material civilization. Such as traditional Chinese floral pattern, theater mask, and so embodies a strong decorative taste.In China,watercolor absorb Chinese and Western painting techniques of art and aesthetics, have experienced a long period of development, improve the language system to a more systematic.This article first elaborate from watercolor performance language, including the language art of watercolor painting performance characteristics and the main types of styles, as a foreshadowing of the article. Introduce watercolors body performance language with artistic characteristics of ethereal beauty, texture beauty and so on. Provide a theoreticalbasis for the following analysis of language use and meaning of decoration. The second chapter is to explore the decorative language expressions in watercolor, focusing on the four aspects of watercolor composition, shape, color and texture. The third chapter is discussed on the basis of Chapter Ⅱ,is about the role and significance of the decorative language in Watercolor Painting.The last part is a combination of their own creative experience and works thinking on the application of decorative language. In this paper, my creative experience and works as an example, discuss the decorative formof language in watercolor,to provide some reference for the watercolorist in the creation of the formation of personality style.
