A Study On The Decorative Language Of Watercolor Painting

In the society with the continuous progress of science and technology,people’s thoughts have undergone tremendous changes,and the artists’ pursuit of art and people’s appreciation of artistic works have been constantly improving.With the continuous renewal of the artists’ creative ideas,the continuous expansion of the themes,the continuous deepening of the connotation,and the continuous development of the forms and methods of expression,the watercolor artists no longer stick to the objective reproduction of the objects themselves in the process of creation,but constantly innovate.In the process of this innovation,the decorative factors are incorporated into the painting work.This paper is divided into four chapters,the first chapter summarizes the concept of watercolor decorative language,as the foundation for the article.The second chapter analyzes the reason of the decoration of Chinese watercolor painting from the influence of traditional Chinese painting,the influence of western modern art and the diversified aesthetic demand.The third chapter is the focus of this paper,from the composition,modeling,color,texture of watercolor painting,analysis,so as to more profound and more comprehensive understanding of the artistic expression of watercolor decorative language.The fourth chapter summarizes the application and thinking of decorative language in watercolor painting,has a deeper understanding of the use of decorative language in watercolor painting,and opens up a broader aesthetic field and form of expression.This paper reveals the importance and necessity of decoration in watercolor painting,by analyzing the decoration performance in its composition,shape,color and texture.Through the study of the decorative language of watercolor painting,improve people’s aesthetic awareness,increase the understanding of watercolor painting,in order to promote the innovation and development of watercolor painting.However,it should be noted that the use of decoration should grasp the "degree",the painter should not ignore the content for the pursuit of form,to pay attention to the performance of watercolor painting painting,ideological,to avoid formalization.At the same time,we should pay attention to reflect the distinctive national characteristics of watercolor painting,to the form of the organic combination of Chinese and western painting elements,from the external national form to the inner national spirit,national temperament,follow the law of art development and play to the painter’s creation,create with national characteristics,time characteristics,personality characteristics of watercolor works.
