Based On The Creative Industry Of Lanzhou Folk Culture Elements

In the development of modern economy, creative industries have become anemerging growth industry. In the creative industry, while seeking theindustrialization of innovative products constantly, we should not forget theessential part of Chinese culture, and also the folk culture industry, which hasexperienced a lot and came through all the way from the history.Folk Culture is an important part of Chinese culture. This thesis focus onthe innovation of the creative industry, select Lanzhou folk cultural forms forthe study, to explore how folk culture into modern industries, improve productquality and its heritage of outstanding folk cultural connotation, in order toimprove our products, international competitiveness and expand the influence ofLanzhou folk culture.Based on combing the results of previous studies, firstly we discussed theimportance of creative industries in the national economy, then analyzed andcompared the different concept of international and domestic development ofcreative industries in this paper. And secondly, we selected the traditional folkculture in Lanzhou for the study, classify and studied the form and the meaningof its art form such as folk art,local opera, music, dance, landscape culture ofLanzhou, food culture, minority faith. Lastly, according to the characteristics ofthe creative industries, we extracted part of dominant and invisible symbolicelements of the unique Lanzhou folk culture such as shape, color, pattern, andthen applied the extracted cultural elements, based on the innovative principle ofthe creative industries, combined with innovative use of the product function,structure, materials and process feature, after that, we carried out the tourismproduction development and design, so that product design will have a strongfolk culture and have the unification of modern and regional. Not only that,theresult of this thesis also contribute to the innovation and protection of folkculture of Lanzhou and the development of creative industries in Lanzhou.
