Special Study On Laizhou Dialect Grammar

Laizhou city was called Ye couty in the past, which was located in the northwest of Shandong peninsula. From the distribution of Chinese dialects, Laizhou dialect is a branch of Qingzhou dialect of Jiaoliao dialect. From the dialect distribution of Shandong province, Laizhou dialect is the dongyong dialect of eastern dialect. This paper we have selected three characteristic grammar items in Laizhou dialect as the object of our study, namely construction of words, pronoun, comparative sentence. Based on the idea of big triangle, that is Mandarin, dialect, classical Chinese, we try to reveal the characteristic of Laizhou dialect from the some point to entire area. The paper is composed of5chapters:Chapter1is the preface part, mainly introduces the humanitical and geographical situations, pronunciation system, research status of Laizhou dialect. We also indicate the major parts, corpus source and study value of this paper in this part.Chapter2is the word construction of Laizhou dialect. From the view of noun, verb, adjective, we have made systemic explainations to some characteristic grammar items such as additional rules and overlapping rules. Some affixes, like "dao","lao","chu" and so on, which are basically the same with the Mandarin, we just made a summation to them. And those affixes which are distinguished with Mandarin mainly, we have made a detailed description. This chapter we mainly make the synchronic description.Chapter3are the pronouns section of Laizhou dialect, mainly introduce the system and usage of personal pronoun, demonstrative pronoun, interrogative pronoun. Besides we have made a investigation to the historical origin of different personal pronouns and the binary contrast of phonetic relationship of demonstrative pronouns. Chapter4are the comparative sentences of Laizhou dialect. We mainly describe the fundamental modes and historical origins of horizontal comparative sentences. And in the comparative sentences, we have chosen four special forms, like comparative sentence token as "dao", comparative sentence token as "qi", comparative sentence token as "lian", and the special comparative sentence token as "number complement" and based on the synchronic description, we tries to compare with Mandarin, the peripheral dialects of Laizhou dialect and materials of Chinese’s history.Chapter5is the conclution of this paper, which is a summary of thu full test and indicates the inadequate and the area need requiring much effort in future of this paper...
