Hakka people of Liang shuijin came from Mei County, Wuhua, Changle, Xingning, Dapu, Longchuan, Guangdong province, and immigrated to Sichuan in the early Qing Dynasty. For more than two hundred years, hakka dialect still keep the important characteristics of northern and eastern guangdong hakka dialect. Mean wile, Hakka dialect of Liang shuijin is affected by Chengdu dialect and has some new changes.There are21initials,53finials and6tones in Hakka dialect of Liang shuijin. This thesis, from diachronic aspect, compares Liangshuijin Hakka dialect with Medieval Phonology and Hakka dialect recorded by Dong Tonghe in Recording Sounds of Hakka Dialect of Liangshuijin, invesgets the developing situation of the initials, finals and tones of Huayang Liangshuijin Hakka dialect, and finds out the Laws of Phonetic evolution. From synchronic aspect, this thesis compares Liangshuijin Hakka dialect with Hakka dialect of Mei County andHakka dialect of Longtansi t, to find out similarities and differences, and show their own developing situation of phonology. At the same time, this thesis compares Liangshuijin Hakka dialect with Chengdu dialect to reveal the phonology variation caused by the language contact.The Study on speech sounds of Hakka dialect of Liangshuijin belongs to speech sounds of Hakka dialect island. The phonetic variation of Liangshuijin Hakka dialect has a typical significance. The author does a detailed analysis about Liangshuijin hakka people’s Language use condition and language attitude, illustrates the effect of language contact to the change of Lianghshuijin Hakka dialect.,and further points out that the bilingual condition, Huayang Liangshuijin hakka dialect and Chengdu dialect, will keep for a long time in Liangshuijin.
