Reseaches On The Dialect Words Of Notes On Book Of Waterways

Notes on Book of Waterways is a geographical masterpiece in the North Wei.It recorded so many of areas and things that we could do a lot of research on it.It was finished ater Shuo wenjie zi.Fang yan,Shi ming,and almost finished at the same time with Yu pian.It is connected with Guang yun and Ji yun.It is an important document for us to do reseach on ancient Chinese language,especially the record of dialect.The study of dialect words of Notes on Book of Waterways use Yang shoujing and Xiong huizhen’s Notes on Book of Waterways,and abide by Yang xiong’s opinion on dialect.I reference resources such as Shuo wen jie zi,Fang yan,Yu pian,Guang yun,Ji yun,Gu xun huizuan to put the dialect lexicon out and do further research.There are39dialect words and60mmon saying words in this book.This paper includes five parts:The chapter one is the summary of Notes on Book of Waterways and the language research on it.It introduced the meaning of doing research on dialect words and the method we use.The chapter two is the statistics and analysis of dialect words.The chapter three is dialect geography.We divided these dialect words,depending on predecessors’achievements.The chapter four is lexicology.We analysis the type of dialect words and the change of it.The chapter five is lexicology of common saying.We discuss the composition, type,reason of common saying, and also find the source of these common saying.
