Stravinsky, Igor Fyodorovich (Stravinsky ’s, Igor Feodorovich) is a given in the20th century music with great impact, resulting in a positive role in promoting theRussian composer. His greatest contribution in the music opened up a whole new field,which involves an imbalance on the beat, changing the rhythm, the use of chords verysynergistic, as well as innovation orchestration. He is very far-reaching impact on themusic of the twentieth century. His works-"Septet" to its pre-creation only a pureinstrumental music divertimento.1952-1953, dedicated to the Dumbarton Oaks Library,premiered in January1954. The instrumentation: violin, viola, cello, piano, clarinet,horn, bassoon. The whole song consists of three movements, the first movement: thesonata form; the second movement: Passacaglia; Third Movement: Gigue."Septet" this work, the use of polyphonic techniques. The first movement sonataform part of the use of contrast Complex Harmonic imitate polyphonic. The secondmovement, the use of the ancient genre of dance music-Passacaglia, different part ofthe binding mode mainly used to imitate the polyphonic approach. The third movement,the use of the highest form of polyphonic writing-Fugue. Single theme of Fugue andDouble Fugue, imitation, canon and other polyphonic techniques has been extensiveapplication.Analysis of Stravinsky’s "Septet" music and literature to read and organize, fromthe perspective of the author’s life, the creative process and musical structure, thetechniques of polyphony, orchestration approach is divided into four sections werediscussed. Mainly for the purpose and significance of this topic, scope, and domesticand international research status in the introduction, there, and how resolution isdescribed. The first chapter focuses on the creative background of Stravinsky’s life andcreative process, as well as the "Septet"; second chapter from the polyphonic techniques-contrast polyphony, imitating polyphonic, as well as the application of the FugueInterpretation Septet, and the score of a comprehensive analysis. Chapter III of the maincharacteristics of polyphonic techniques "Septet" summarized, combined with the serialtechniques of the twentieth century, for further analysis, and get inspiration from thiswork and thinking are described.
