Etchings Transfer Technology Application Research

Technology always occupies an important position in etchings, its rise and fall with the changing of the times change. With the development of the times, art performance demands and technological progress, copperplate painting techniques are constantly developing and improving. In order to enrich and expand the copperplate Languages, I practice and study on the transfer printing technique has been thoroughly. This technology has been used early in the creation of print, but rarely applied in domestic, and also little mentioned in the books about etching. This paper uses four sections to discusses the technology’s advantages and role for the creation of eching in contemporary art: chapter1outlined the principles of transfer printing technology;Second chapter details the transfer printing technology in experiment and application of creations;Chapter3by comparing the transfer printing technology and photogravure technique to explained the advantages and disadvantages of transfer technology, fourth chapter for unique role and significance of printing technology language in the performance. This emphasis on chapters2and3, elaborated on the experimental material, images, programs, and other factors in the process bring creative opportunity, as well as the diversity of transfer printing technique application in combination with traditional copperplate painting techniques, and through the photographic plate image analysis techniques, compare, deals with the transfer printing technique in copper engraving of contingency in creation and flexibility. In the conclusion part, it shows the details that with the era of rapid development in science and technology, transfer printing technology can adapt to the trend of the times, which can be widely used and made as a new sign languages of eching and also can get rich expressiveness.This article from a personal practice, through the transfer printing technique experimental, comparative theory carding and discussed its implications for creation of copper engraving, affirming the value of the transfer printing technique, contemporary copperplate experiments and innovations made several thinking of painting techniques.
