However, the social understand little about them, and often give the negative evaluation. Meanwhile, there are a few empirical researchs about the90s.From the psychology angle, this research chose3390s of freshmen of East China Normal University as subjects. All these subjects adopted three scales, the IAT and the ST-IAT procedures. This research also chose3380s from social as another group, they adopted Semantic Differential Scale and ST-IAT procedure. The results are as follows:(1)Explicit self-concept of90s was very positive. On the dimension of Social Self-concept, there was a significant gender difference between the only-child subjects and the non-only-child subjects. As a whole, implicit self-concept was not significantly related to their explicit self-concept. However, the dimensions of Personal self and Self-criticize were significantly related to implicit self-concept.(2)90s had a significant identity to "90s" group explicitly. Group Identification Scale and the two dimensions of the components, and the Belonging Needs Scale were significantly and positively related to Semantic Differential Scale. Semantic Differential Scale was an intermediary variable between Belonging Needs Scale and Group Identification Scale. There exiting a significant positive group identification of90s to "90s" group both explicitly and implicitly. The research did not discover an significant relationship between explicit group identification and implicit identification.(3)There exiting a significant relationship between explicit self-concept and total group identification. Moral-ethical self (ME), self-satisfaction (SA) were significantly related to rational group identification dimension; Explicit self-concept and implicit group identification had no correlation. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | 90s, self-concept, group identity, IAT, ST-IAT | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
