| Objective:To explore the effect of Naikan cognitive therapy on college students with aggressive characteristic-in order to reduce and relieve the interpersonal conflict of college students and establish the harmonious campus. Methods:Thirty college students with aggressive characteristic were enrolled. And mental intervention was performed by Discrete Naikan cognitive therapy-psychological assessments were tested before and afrer the intervention. Multifactor regression analysis was used to analyze the data from all scales, and these variables have been put into the logistic regression model by the order. The multifactor logistic regression analysis with stepwise method. By means of this logistic regression analysis was adopted, the independent dangerous factors of college students’ aggression were confirmed. Paired-samples t test was used to determine the difference of psycohological assessments before and after therapy, therefore the effects of the psychological intervention were evaluated. significance difference was set α=0.05(two-tailed)Results:The coefficients among psychological factors impacting the college students’ aggression are analyzed. It is found that the score of college students’ aggression is correlated negatively with the scores of overall emotional index, subjective well-being index, comprehending social support, trusting others, tolerating with others, being tolerated by others and self-esteem, and it is correlated positively with the scores of sensitivity of interpersonal relationship and hostility in SCL-90. That the above correlations are significant. The regression among psychological factors impacting the college students’ aggression is also analyzed. The factor of college students’ aggression is taken as the dependent variable, and overall emotional index, subjective well-being index, comprehending social support, trusting others, tolerating with others, being tolerated by others and self-esteem are taken as independent variables. Through the final multifactor linear regression analysis, the variable of tolerating with others is firstly entered into the regression equation model, the variable of hostility of SCL-90is entered into the regression equation model. The final regression equation model of college students’ aggression is established which is equal to23.442-0.211*the scores of tolerating with others+0.348*the scores of hostility in SCL-90. After the subjects are intervened with Naikan cognitive therapy, their aggression scores are significantly reduced, and the scores of sensitivity of interpersonal relationship and hostility in SCL-90are also reduced. Especially the score of sensitivity of interpersonal relationship in SCL-90is significantly reduced. The scores of trusting others, tolerating with others, and being tolerated by others are significantly increased. The scores of comprehending social support and self-esteem are increased, and the differences of the scores of comprehending social support and overall emotional index are significant from the perspective of statistics.Conclusion:1. The score of college students’aggression is correlated negatively with the scores of overall emotional index, subjective well-being index, comprehending social support, trusting others, tolerating with others, being tolerated by others and self-esteem, and it is correlated positively with the scores of sensitivity of interpersonal relationship and hostility in SCL-90.2. The variables of tolerating with others and hostility are the most important factors related to college students’ aggression.3. Naikan cognitive therapy can effectively reduce the college students’ aggression by means of improving overall emotional level, increasing the ability of understanding social support, improving the self-esteem, increasing the ability of tolerating with others and reducing the hostility. |
