The synonymous rhetoric can be also called "synonymous forms" or "synonymous means", it means the same thing by various words or structures. The synonymous rhetoric is one of the most important aspects in study of rhetoric. Ancient books and records in different times chose different forms because of adult、Language environment and so on. These are the preconditions for studying synonymous rhetoric. The synonymous rhetoric also has both artistic value and academic interest. Comparing the differences on phonetieian, voeable, grammar and other aspects, eventually in order to perfect the expression.This paper includes seven chaptersThe first chapter is the introduction of the the synonymous rhetoric. The editions of the two books.The second chapter is about the synonym between "Shi shuo xin yu "and "Jin shu". This chapter involves three parts. The first part explains the source of synonymous rhetoric, main language materials. The second part is the relationship between the two books, including the evolution of language. The last part is the research method.The third chapter is about the grammar in synonymous rhetoric, including synonymous structures and synonymous sentences. Trying to know the main grammar changes in middle age. The forth chapter is about melonymy. Compare to the traditional melonymy, it has extention both in content and conception.The fifth chapter is about the illegibility between the two books.The sixth chapter is about the omission.
