An Analysis On The Structural Realistic Characteristics Of Mario Vargas Llosa’s Work

Mario Vargas Llosa (1936-now) owns dual citizenship of Peru and Spain.His creative area includes novels, theatre, prose, poetry, literature review and so on. He also plays an active role in directing movies, theatres, broadcast and the most surprisingly area-politic stage. However, his success in literature is most outstanding. Wining many literature awards including Spanish Critics Award, Peru National Novel Prize, he has published many works especially novels and finally became the107th laureate of the Nobel Prize in Literature in2010.As one of the most influential leader of Latin American Boom, Mario Vargas Llosa has made a great contribution to the development of the Structural Realism. With the help of his work, he projects the real life of Latin America especially of Peru to his readers. This dissertation aims to analyze his work, and meanwhile do a research on the origins and basic characteristics of Structural Realism. It will start with Mario Vargas Llosa’s influence in Chinese Pioneers writers and analyze how Structural Realism affects Chinese contemporary writers.
