| Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT), emerged in the1980s, is a language teaching method developed on the basis of the Communicative Approach. TBLT emphasizes on "learning by doing", earn the language knowledge and master language skills by completing tasks. In recent years, this kind of teaching method earns widespread concern and is continuously applied to the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL).With the development of TCFL, the Mongolian people begin to learn Chinese like crazy, however, study about Mongolians learning Chinese is quite limited. Teachers there still follow the traditional teaching method. In the oral classroom, the teacher is the center of a class, the time for students to practice is not guaranteed, and their enthusiasm is not completely stimulated.In this paper, the author attempts to introduce the TBLT into the intermediate oral teaching classroom in Mongolia and verifies its positive and negative roles. With this practice, the author hopes to provide theoretical and practical support for Mongolia Intermediate oral Chinese teaching so as to contribute to the development of Chinese language teaching in Mongolia.The author studies the theories about TBLT and oral Chinese teaching, and learns the basic condition of oral Chinese teaching in Mongolia through interviews with teachers and a questionnaire survey among students. On this basis, the author studies the oral books carefully, analyses each lesson, identifies the program of implementation and applies it to the intermediate oral class.The author finds that TBLT has a good effect on the guidance of Intermediate Spoken Chinese teaching. The students improves their speaking as well as listening ability, the ability to discover the language form as well as communicate and cooperate with others. In this practice, the author verifies the positive roles played by TBLT which advocates student-centered, team cooperation and authentic tasks. |
