| Zhao Xiaosheng is a contemporary pianist, composer, educator and music theorist of China. And it is rare to see such multiple identities in the music history of China. By blending Oriental and Western music, traditional culture and modern culture together, he has created a large number of musical works coupled with a great many music theories, set multiple cultures in one, broadened the development road of Chinese music and made prominent contributions to the development of music in China.Based on Zhao Xiaosheng’s academic achievements that have been published, papers and materials related to researching him and so on, this thesis means to analyze Zhao Xiaosheng’s music works from the aspect of the works ontology and cultural connotation and to study and elaborate his multiple ideologi.es,multicultural achievements together with his diversity of artistic practice, trying to explore Zhao Xiaosheng’s success trajectory and find out the the way to cultivate the compound talents and the cultural roots behind the phenomenon of Zhao Xiaosheng. This paper is mainly divided into four sections:Section one:Zhao Xiaosheng’s Life Course and His Artistic Achievements. It mainly discusses Zhao Xiaosheng’s musical experiences and achievements in "’early phase","metaphase"and"later period". Taking the piano works of Tai Chi and the Chinese Piano Etudes as an example, this section emphatically analyzes the work embodied in Chinese traditional culture and shows the main character of Zhao Xiaosheng’s music works. In cultural background, this paper analyzes internal and external factors and the characteristics of Zhao Xiaosheng’s music creation. Moreover, Combined with Zhao Xiaosheng’s diverse artistic achievements, the paper also explores the practical significance of his combination of traditional culture with modern culture, and Western music with Eastern music.Section two:Multiple Structure of Knowledge and the Thoughts of Zhao Xiaosheng’s Piano Educatioin.This part is discussed from two aspects.Fistly,elaborate Zhao Xiaosheng’s multiple structures of knowledge from traditional cultrure,western modem culture and the combination of Chinese and Western culture. Secondly, Because of Zhao Xiaosheng’s dual identities of pianist and musical educator,the thoughts of piano education is obtained from four aspects of learning objectives, teaching purposes, selected songs for teaching and teachers’ knowledgeSection three:Multiple Tthoughts of Music and Native Musical Sentiment.This section, echoing the title of the paper, is the important part of the paper. Taking the first and the second part as foundation, this part constructs Zhao Xiaosheng’s multiple status such as pianist, composer, educator and music theorist, and analyzes his growth law of integrating multiple cultures into one and its historical inevitability, from which, inspiration is obtained.Section four:the Discussion on the Cultivation of Compound Musical Talents in Modern China from the phenomenon of Zhao Xiaosheng. This section, from two points of the scholars of the "encyclopedia" type and "sometimes music is something other beyond itself’—the discipline studies of "encyclopedia" type, analyzes the future discipline development tendency and the trend, points out the valuable place of multicultural integration of Zhao Xiaosheng and reminds the contemporary scholars and the discipline researchers to assimilate nutrition and learn from the multicultural practice of Zhao Xiaosheng. In addition, from Zhao Xiaosheng multicultural art path and artistic achievements, combined with the status of academic reference and academic exchanges in China, this section points out that multiculturalism is the eternal power of sustainable social development. |
