| At present, official documents writing in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is different in some ways, which includes writing style, writing procedure, Language style, etc. That being so, the polite formula exists some differences naturally.This paper mainly takes current formula of the official documents in Cross-Strait Four as research object. And divide the polite formula into structure formula and function formula for discussing. According to the analysis of polite formula in Cross-Strait Four current official documents, the characteristics of polite formula are summarized as the following:In Hong Kong area, the formulas mostly carry on the ways of expression in British official documents, but simultaneously, they mix up the classical Chinese with the vernacular, and were looked much more elegance. In Macao area, polite formulas were type of Portuguese style obviously. In Taiwan area, official documents formulas reflect out the features of inheriting ancient Chinese official documents. And in mainland China, official documents formulas give the perfection and development of the ancient Chinese official documents.In addition, in order to enhance the exchange of the official documents, improve the efficiency of official documents and promote further development and combination of Cross-Strait Four, some suggestions are raised to standardize the formula of official documents in this paper. |
