China and Vietnam is linked to the mountains and rivers are neighbors, betweeneach other with a long history and close contact. The more in between the twocountries has a two thousand-year-old friendly exchanges, in which about onethousand years was China’s feudal dynasty of direct governance counties; It is a vassalstate of Chinese empire and enjoy autonomy feudal state and exist for nearly onethousand years. The French in tianjin forced the Qing government to sign unequalNew Treaty of Sino-France, the Qing government had lost its suzerainty to Vietnamand admit it is a protectorate of France. The Sino-Vietnam Partriarchal-Vassal systemcollapsed completely. This Partriarchal-Vassal relationship won’t declare to finishuntil Vietnam became to Pairs colony in1885.As China’s important neighbours, economic and cultural exchanges between thetwo countries have never interrupt. Domestic scholars have been focusing on earlyqing dynasty in the Partriarchal-Vassal relationship before, its outstanding academicachievement, but still lack of systematic generalization. This article attempts to thisfield research since reform and opening up the scientific research achievements onbriefly summarize and analyze.This paper which focuses on the research of Sino-Vietnam Partriarchal-Vassalrelationship can be divided into the following four parts:Chapter one is in the Partriarchal-Vassal relationship with the formation of theestablishment. The early nineteenth century, Ruan Fuying establishes regime after defeat his politicalenemies, and with Qing dynasty founded Partriarchal-Vassal relationship, but theQing government abandoned Vietnam to France after Sino-french war, which can leadto both sides of the Partriarchal-Vassal relationship is finally over.Chapter four is in the Partriarchal-Vassal relationship to our country foreignpolicy enlightenment."The lessons learned from others’ mistakes is a guide for thefuture", the history of China foreign relations of the principle of contemporary China’sforeign policy is formulated for reference.In general, the author settle the Sino-Vietnam Partriarchal-Vassal relationship inthe historical development process roughly. At the same time, I could discuss theSino-Vietnam military technology exchange and the overseas Chinese has made greatcontribution to promote the development of the Vietnam. As also I would analyzecause for Chinese sent troops to Vietnam in vain and the French forces achievesuccess of colonial expansion.
