| Language is the product of culture and the part of culture. In cross-cultural communication, different cultures will become the main obstacle for communication. So teaching Chinese as a foreign language should be combined with Chinese culture teaching for the cultivation of the students’cross-cultural language skills and language communicative ability. Vocabulary is the foundation of the language elements and vocabulary teaching is an important part of teaching the language. As an important part of Chinese vocabulary, culture words are full of the rich connotation of national culture; therefore culture teaching in words for teaching Chinese as a foreign language is in special status. But cultural words is an extremely complex, it involves political, economic, cultural, social, life style, customs, the mode of thinking, the values and so on.The connotation is rich and the quantity is considerable; But up to now there isn’t a clear classification standards of the cultural words in the academic circles. The universality of culture and the fuzzy gave a considerable difficulty to teachers’effective teaching and it is also the urgent task for the overseas researchers pay more attention to and solve.This thesis is on the base of linguistics, applied linguistics, language emetics, intercultural communication science, the second language acquisition, teaching Chinese as a foreign language and statistical science theoryand the teacher in the teaching attitude problem, analyses the enlightenment of culture teaching from the definition and classification of the cultural words and analyses the HSK advanced test’s culture word. This thesis discusses the teaching principle of cultural words, words of culture teaching operation methods and practice method to explain in details.This thesis’s innovations lie in the use of certain statistical method to do classification statistics of words appeared in the medium and senior HSK tests, then made out the data analysis of words for the study of the method of culture teaching provide statistical. This paper pays attention to combining theory with practice, with the hope of giving Chinese culture words teaching a reference basis to make the students master the necessary cultural words and to learn an authentic Chinese for successful intercultural communication. |
