Elephant Oil Painting The Visual Elements Analysis

It is significant to study and analyze visual elements of figurative oil paintings,because every great painting has its own significance and emotion. We can analyze theirlanguage and their emotion by vision. This paper summarizes optional features on the basisof analyzing perception of vision, vision and schema and visual elements.Figurative oil paintings express artists’ creating intension and emotion by visualelements. This paper also compares figurative oil paintings with abstract oil paintings andimage oil paintings. In addition, this paper discusses rhythm and rhyme of visual elementsin figurative oil paintings from rhythm and rhyme of lines, shapes, light and shadow andstyle of painting and texture.Perception of vision determines lines, colors and light and shadow’s stimulus toemotion. It also records artists’ unique style of vision by paintings. Visual elements andvision selection and schema reflect the beginning and differences of art creation. Points,lines and planes, proportional relation, colors and light and shadow reflect artists’ emotion.All of these reflect the relationship and differences between figurative oil paintings andabstract oil paintings and image oil paintings. At last, this paper describes rhythm andrhyme,which are very important to all kinds of arts, and the visional beauty they bring topaintings.It is endless to study visual elements of figurative oil paintings.
