| Many scholars have discussed on whether to provide expoundinganalysis of synonyms to the foreign students. Due to the specialty of theteaching object in second language teaching, analysis of synonyms isindeed a difficulty or, a bottle-neck in the vocabulary studying process.Just because of the occurrence of problems, we have to confront it insteadof avoiding. Furthermore, the breaking through of this bottle-neck, willalso render the studying process of students to reach a higher level. Onthe basis of the summarization of the former studies, the paper would tryto draw out a conclusive methodology and strategy of the analysis of thesynonyms especially for students who study Chinese as a secondlanguage, from the angle of foreign language teaching.This paper has six sections. The first is introduction, introducing theorigin and significance of the topic, as well as the range and object ofstudy. The second section is the summarization of study of synonyms, andthe third an introduction of the causes of the misuse of the synonymsamong foreign students, including the translations in English, thediaspora of mother language, the same morpheme in two words and theintersection of meanings. The fourth and fifth are the major part of thepaper, which made a close study of the methodology and strategies of theanalysis of synonyms. The sixth section is the conclusive part of thepaper. This paper attempts to provide some method and strategy of analysisof synonyms to TCFL teachers, so as to the teachers can teaching smoothly, Making synonyms teaching effectiveness clarified. |
