| Vocabulary teaching is an important part of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The size of the vocabulary will determine the Chinese proficiency of foreign students. Particularly the synonym in Chinese is a difficulty point in vocabulary teaching. The intermediate stage is a significant period for the foreign students to accumulate the vocabularies. This paper analyzes the synonyms errors of the intermediate level learners in the process of Chinese study and proposes some corresponding suggestions. The paper is composed of four chapters. At first, the paper finds out the kings of synonym errors through analyzing the survey data. Then it classifies synonyms errors from the perspective of semantics and syntax in detail. The third part analyzes the reasons of errors from the perspective of Chinese, foreign students and study circumstance. At last, the paper puts forward practical teaching skills and corresponding teaching strategies so that it could guide the Chinese teaching and improve efficiency of foreign students to discriminate the synonyms. |
